Purpose and Scope:
The primary objective of the survey is to:

• Ensure cargo is correctly loaded, stowed, and secured in accordance with the approved stowage plan.
   
• Verify that cargo is adequately packed, labelled, and documented.
   
• Assess the appropriateness and condition of lashings and securing devices used.
   

Survey Process Includes:

• Inspection of cargo stowage arrangements in the vessel’s holds or on deck.
   
• Verification that the stowage aligns with the approved cargo plan.
   
• Examination of lashings, including their type, number, placement, and points of attachment.
   
• Assessment of lashing tension and overall integrity to confirm suitability for the voyage.
